Support Israeli Artists
ACHI
The War in Gaza has severely impacted Israel’s economy. Here is an easy way to help. Just visit the Marked sponsored by ACHI and you will be greeted by almost 250 Israeli vendors. The varied items for sale include art, jewelry, food, clothing, and more. With just a click, you can purchase an assortment of items or you can gift family and friends. Most vendors ship in Israel and globally. Please help ACHI with its mission: Support Israel — Buy Israeli. You will be supporting struggling vendors and this in turn will trickle down to the economy
Artist Spotlight
Every week, LSS will shine a spotlight on talented Israeli artists, introducing our community to their incredible work and providing an opportunity to support them through purchases. By championing Israeli artists, we can contribute in a meaningful way and help our brothers and sisters in Israel.
Deborah Dworman Sullum
Discover the artistic universe of Deborah Dworman Sullum, where her journey as an artist, art therapist, and educator is infused with passion, creativity, and the transformative essence of art. She does not restrict herself to a particular medium or technique. Recently glass fusing and casting has been her medium of choice as well as
working with ephemeral material. Her creations are not merely artistic expressions; they are portals to reflection, healing, and hope, mirroring the complexities of our world.
Since her move to Israel in 1995 from Allentown, Pennsylvania, Deborah has been an influential force in the art community, both as an art educator at the Anglican International School of Jerusalem for over 25 years and as an
exhibiting artist in Israel. Deborah's artistry has gained international recognition, showcasing her works in numerous exhibitions worldwide.
Her approach combines profound emotional depth with striking visual narratives, making each piece an immersive experience. Her art displays her ability to touch hearts and is thought-provoking. Deborah's exhibitions, held in various corners
of the globe, showcase not just her artistic talent but also her deep engagement with life's challenges. Her most recent exhibition in January 2024, at the Chagall Artist's House in Haifa, marks a significant phase in her artistic journey, addressing intricate themes of memory, fragility, and loss. This exhibition is perhaps her most impactful, offering a poignant exploration of these complex subjects.
