Hospitality

Lincoln Square Synagogue is known for its hospitality and is committed to making every effort to secure Shabbat meal invitations for our members as well as first time visitors to our community.  Our hospitality is provided by members of LSS who volunteer to host guests in their own homes when they are able to entertain, thus providing a warm and welcoming Shabbat environment.

Please click on the appropriate link below to request hospitality as a member or first time visitor. Take care to fully complete the form, as that will help our efforts to place you.  Please submit the application as early as two weeks in advance and, absent an emergency, by Wednesday evening of the Shabbat in question.

We are most often successful in obtaining invitations, but if we cannot, we will provide information about other options for you. If you would like information about kosher food sources in our neighborhood, including restaurants and take-out sources, please click here 

Please note that our hospitality is limited to Shabbat meals as we are not in a position to provide overnight accommodations to visitors.  If you would like information about hotels in our area that are familiar with the needs of Shabbat observant guests, please click here
