Dear Parents,
We have been informed that the Israeli government is urging parents to tell their children to delete Instagram and Tik Tok from their phones as Hamas terrorists will be posting horrific photos and videos. In addition, we have been notified that such groups are also using these videos as cyber weapons to hack into devices.
Students in grades 5-8 are strongly advised to delete these social media accounts to prevent harm to their emotional wellbeing as well as to protect their devices. At the very least, we implore the students to refrain from viewing any images or videos from unknown or unfamiliar sources.
We urge you to reiterate this message and delete these apps. We thank you for partnering with us in ensuring the wellbeing of our children.
