Blooming Together: Flowers, Torah, and Planning for the Future For Older Adults and Caregivers

Wednesday, May 28th at 11:00am

Join us for a warm and enriching program designed for older adults and those caring for loved ones. With over a decade of experience in the healthcare field, elder care specialist Rachel Neiman of Affinity Concierge Home Care will guide participants through a relaxing flower arranging activity, followed by a clear and informative discussion on long-term care planning—what to consider, how to prepare, and where to find the right support.

Rabbi Adam Huttel, the synagogue’s social worker,  will be sharing a brief teaching on the holiday of Shavuos, sharing insights into the spiritual and symbolic connection between flowers and the festival. A guided group discussion will follow, exploring themes of growth, beauty, and continuity in later life.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect, create, and learn in a supportive and thoughtful setting.
