The majority of American Jews are liberal and progressive, while – as the recent elections show -- the majority of Israelis are leaning to the right. The rift between the two groups is widening, especially regarding the "peace process". Is there a way to bridge the gaps between Israelis and American Jews? Join us and find out.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Mordechai Kedar was born in Tel Aviv. He is a religious Zionist and an expert in Islam, the Arab world and Israeli Arab relations. He served for 25 years in IDF Military Intelligence, where he specialized in Islamic groups, the political discourse of Arab countries, the Arabic press and mass media.

He holds a Ph.D. from Bar-Ilan University where he now teaches. Dr. Kedar contributes to various research centers. He is fluent in Hebrew, Arabic, and English. He is one of the few Arabic-speaking Israeli pundits seen on Arabic satellite channels defending Israel
