The Challenge of Being a Moral Army in an Immoral World & LSS Solidarity Mission to Israel

On Thursday, Oct. 23, at 8:00pm, Mr. Yitzhak Sokoloff will speak on the topic of: "The Challenge of Being a Moral Army in an Immoral World" as well as discuss the upcoming LSS Mission to Southern Israel and answer any questions.

Yitzhak Sokoloff is an educator and Israeli political analyst, who lectures widely on the imperative of creating a moral society in the State of Israel. He taught Political Science and Jewish philosophy at the Hebrew University, served in the Golani Brigade of the IDF, fought in Lebanon, and participated in “Operation Moses” which brought thousands of Ethiopian Jews to Israel.

Mr. Sokoloff also develops seminars for Israeli terrorist victims and for soldiers in the IDF facing difficult moral and operational dilemmas under fire. He is a member of the steering committee of a new project recently initiated by Beit Morasha and the IDF Education Corps to prepare thousands of Israeli soldiers for the challenge of conducting “ethical combat” and to process their experience of combat service in Gaza.

Yitzhak is the founder and president of Keshet: The Center for Educational Tourism in Jerusalem, a pioneering tour company that has arranged tours and seminars for tens of thousands of visitors to Israel from all over the world.
