Lincoln Square Synagogue Film Club invites you to the Opening Night of the 2017-18 film season with a special screening of:

Ben-Gurion, Epilogue

co-sponsored by American Associates, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev

November 4th, 2017 @ 8:00pm

Nearly 50 years ago, Israel’s former Prime Minister David Ben Gurion—then 82 and living in spartan retirement on Kibbutz Sde Boker—was interviewed for a film project that never saw the light of day. The six hours of footage was only recently unearthed, then reassembled and edited to present the distinctive voice and vision of one the great architects of the State of Israel to a new generation. Intimate, revealing, often surprising, the wide-ranging conversation offers a unique perspective on the Zionist enterprise then and now.

Screening will be followed by Q&A with

Alon Ben-Gurion

grandson of David Ben-Gurion
