Alan Samuels

Vice President

Alan is currently the CEO of iClearpath, a venture-backed star-up that is revolutionizing the confusing, costly and paper-based immigration filing process, just as TurboTax transformed tax filing. With a background in international corporate, start-up and consulting businesses, Alan brings a wealth of experience to the iClearpath organization as well as personal experience with the U.S. citizenship and immigration process.

Most recently he was a key member of the executive team that turned around the business at Dotmenu, the nation’s largest consumer marketplace for online food delivery, culminating in a strategic merger with leading industry player GrubHub that more than doubled the value of the business in 18 months. Prior to that, he was a co-founder of People Capital, an education finance platform, where he led the development of the peer-to-peer lending platform, private-label services and innovative risk analytics for the student marketplace.

In the corporate world, Alan has extensive experience leading product management, marketing, business development and data operations functions. He spent over 10 years in the financial information space as an executive at both Standard & Poor’s (part of The McGraw-Hill Companies) and Fitch Ratings. He has also led product management and strategy at WorldPay, a leading electronic payments processor. He began his career as a management consultant with Arthur Andersen and Gemini Consulting, where he worked on many strategic and operational consulting projects across the US, Europe and Africa.
