Eli Kornreich

Executive Vice-President


Eli Kornreich is an experienced Jewish agency executive, and a member of the Wexner Foundation’s Graduate Fellowship Program, Class VI.  Yeshiva educated through high school, Eli spent his undergraduate college years at Brooklyn College, where he earned a B.A in English.  Eli then went on to complete a dual-Masters degree program at Columbia University Graduate School of Social Work and the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, earning a Masters of Science in Social Work and a Masters of Arts in Jewish Studies.

 

Eli, his wife and their three children have lived in their New Rochelle, N.Y. home since 1998, while Eli has spent much of his career working in the JCC & Jewish Federation fields.  Most recently, Eli served 9 years as the President & CEO at The Jewish Center for Community Services [JCCS] of Eastern Fairfield County, a merged JCC-Federation agency located in Bridgeport, CT.

Phil Landsberg

Assistant to the Executive Vice-President


Phil Landsberg returned to work for LSS in April, 2005. He prepares the weekly Shabbat Echod newsletter; oversees LSS mailings and email announcements; serves as class registrar; and manages office equipment.

When he isn't at LSS, Phil enjoys his "quiet" life in Kew Gardens Hills, Queens with his wife Natalie and 2 sons Noah, born September, 2007.

He is also the webmaster for an assortment of non-profit organizations.
