Learn

Experience the Study of Torah

Lincoln Square provides a range of learning experiences. Throughout the year the Joseph Shapiro Institute of Continuing Classes provides opportunities to make study part of your day.

Why learn alone when you can put two heads together? For a chavruta call or email Rabbi Robinson, or see below for information on our Beit Midrash Program . Arrange a learning seder, morning or evening, in English or in Hebrew, in whatever Jewish discipline you choose - Gemara, b’iyun or b’kiut, Chumash, Mishnayot, or Machshevet Yisrael. Besides learning, the atmosphere itself is an experience.

Beginners enter the synagogue with little or no experience in synagogue and Jewish customs. LSS has established a reputation of being a place where Beginners are taught rituals and practices, and their meanings, in a non-judgmental and enjoyable setting.

Check out all our regular Educational Classes, topical Educational Events, as well a recordings of previous classes.
